I am unable to get this component to install, it keeps calling for the license file, and I have it, I placed it (probably in the wrong place) Anyways, here's my PHP error message-

The encoded file /letsleavethesitenameoutofit/content/administrator/components/com_customerswhobought/admin.customerswhobought.php requires a license file com_customerswhobought_license.txt.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Yes,
it asks for the license file.
You should have downloaded the JoomPlace license manager component (you can ding it on the Requirements page) and upload the file from there.

Or, you should rename the license file to com_customerswhobought_license.txt and move it manually to the root folder of your site.
Kind regards!

Yeah, so I did that, now this-

Warning: main(/administrator/components/com_customerswhobought/language/english.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mysite/web/content/administrator/components/com_customerswhobought/admin.customerswhobought.php on line 0

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/administrator/components/com_customerswhobought/language/english.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php') in /mysite/web/content/administrator/components/com_customerswhobought/admin.customerswhobought.php on line 0

Now what?

Hi,
seems like the language file was not copied, you need to check the /administrator/components/com_customerswhobought/language/english.php file and copy it from the installation pack if it's not there.

These could be the permissions issue, the permissions on the folder should be at least with the 'read' attributes.
Kind regards!

All of my folders on my server are set to 755. My files contained within are all 644.

I checked a few files, both the english.php, and the admin.customerswhobought.php. These were both on the server. These were both set at 644, and I tested to see if changing to 755 would make any difference.

It did not. I have the files, I have the proper permissions. What now?

Can you please provide the temporary admin and FTP accesses to your site?
You can mail them to support@joomplace.com together with this thread's link. We'll investigate the issue and let you know how this should be fixed (or fix it).
Kind regards!
