Our plugin is compatible with JCE 1.1.8+ -1.1.x only. Which version do you use at your site?
Also JCE 1.1.8+ -1.1.x is not compatible with Joomla 1.5.

Please excuse my colleague who rushed the things a bit (while I was out of office, hence did not track this thread).

The matter is that JCE plugin does not depend that much on Joomla version but on JCE editor which this Joomla version has.
Hence, Joomla 1.5 has JCE new version (and our plugin needs the compatibility with it to be developed), but there is one big issue: most part of our plugin is already realized there as built-in options, that's why it will be not reasonable for us to further develop our plugin for J1.5.x.

So I guess the question that now arises is: are you not satisfied with the built-in options J1.5 offers?

Sorry, we can not provide the refund in the case, because we only provide refund when the component doesn't appear to be as described; but the description page of the component never stated J1.5 compatibility of the plugin.
