development site license expires? 4 years, 6 months ago #4235

I find it a bit un nerving to find that the development site license expires. Since I do constant site development on a development server before moving it to a live server. To be able to show a finished site for clients with the potential to buy more site licenses for your components this is a major pain... I am disappointed to see that you have restricted developers in this manner. I hope you will re-consider this apparent short sighted view.

Hello
Usually this term is enough to finish the development before moving to a live server. If this time is not enough for you to finish your test development we can extend the terms. Please contact us when you need this. You can use support@joomplace.com for that. If we have any additional requests we will extend this terms for all. I believe this will be the best decision.

Hi, I just purchased this component and was also very surprised to see that the development licence will expire. Even after a site goes live, you'll always want to make updates e.g. add new components. With the current licences, I can only see you making changes directly within the live environment!!! Surely that's not good.

Would really appreciate you revising the terms for the dev licence to make it permanently available like the live one.

Hello
For this reason the component's main license is unlimited for Joomla installs in subfolders of your site. You can also install the component on the local server with the same domain name.
