TOPIC: Language module for Room_booker

Language module for Room_booker 1 year, 11 months ago #12212

Hello,

I bought Room_booker yesterday for a Dutch site.
Is there a dutch language module for this component.

If no, how can I make my own language module for room_booker.

Yours sincerely,

Marcel

I will use room_booker for other intension then to book a room or other rooms.
I wil use it in a way that users can register themselves for a course on a particular date.
Is it possible to transform room booker for that kind of forms.
Please let me know, You will help me a lot.

Hi Marcel,
there is an english.php file the components/roombooker/language folder, where you can translate the front end labels to your language.

It's possible to customize the component to your needs, but we can't advise here as we don't know what you use to organize courses and the flow you will use..

Thanks for answering.

The map con_com_room_booker/language/ has other owner-rights than myself.
I cannot change the content of the English.php file.
The owner (filezilla) is 500/500 en the file permissions given 644.
When I download the file with Notepad++ and then I change the content, I cannot upload the file with filezilla to my web-server.

Became this because Joomla installed the zip file?

I send you the english.php file with the translatinos in it.
You may possibly import this file into a new Room_booker_1.1.9 (GNU) file.
If so, can you return it after importing it?

Yours sincerely,

Hi,
yes you can send us this language file, we'll include it in the installation package.
You can't copy the file because the owner if the files is different froim the FTP client under which you upload the file. If you provide us with the FTP access we can uplaod the file for you. But please write to our helpdesk system at support@joomplace.com

What you said about courses is not clear description (the one you sent in the email) please also describe in the ticket how you need to organize the subscription process, and we'll estimate this functionality for you.
