Hi there, I keep getting this error.

I have my own Adobe Flash Media Streaming server that I am utilizing.

When I try to join a conference, it does indicate the server state as 'Green' however, it says Total Clients: undefined /
and Teacher: not connected (which is fine).

When I click on Enter, I get the 'Message Server: Undefined msg box. When I click ok nothing happens. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

ok I have got it to work to the point where my flash media server recognizes that someone is trying to conference. Also, I don't get that message error any longer.

However, now the server state: 'Red'. When I connect as a teacher, I can hit start to start the conference however it still says teacher is not connected and none of the students show up in the list either even though I have a few test machines that are logged in as students.

They can see me draw stuff on the white board yet they cannot interact. On their screens it states 'Teacher is not connected'.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry bud but my site is an intranet. I will be unable to provide you with access to troubleshoot. Can we attempt to do this some other way?

Here is what you can try to do:
Try to restart the server, and as far as you've got the access to server management, look at Logs.
Check once more the correctness of the server configuration. There, in the file layout, the embedded directory streams/_definst_should be obligatory created.

If it doesn't help, we can provide you with the access to our server for one day, to test the component and find out your problem.

I was getting the same message error but was able to fix it by looking at the logs in the FMS. The problem was in the joomla Live Conference configuration, most severs require the full path to the application example in the Flash server URL: rtmp://flashserverdomain.com/liveconf_app
but Live Conference has already the path defined therefore you only need to add rtmp://flashserverdomain.com

I would also suggest to have a look at the main.asc in the application folder and replace the URL \"joomlalms.com\" with your site's URL.

In most cases the problem was in the incorrect configuration of the path to the application.
Have you chacked the suggested above points and double-checked the settings?
