Perhaps I don't get it..?!

The MultiSite-Component allows to copy only a complete site/database....!

The MultiSiteControl allows to copy single content items..?

Both seems to works fine - with a subdomain and a TLDomain

But my Question:

Everytime I copy a single content item, this content is written in the target database with a new ID, of course doesn't overwrite the already existing content and of course doesn't show up on the website......???

So actually I'm not able to manage multiple sites!!

I'm doing something wrong?

please describe your problem more clearly. When you are copying content to your second site using MS Control you can't see it there?

Well: copied content is written in the second database as a new item and shows up for example as double in the popular modul

....as far as I can see, the existing content is not updated

I need some update possibility for the existing content??!?!

There's no way to change the content this way. The component will only add it under the new ID.
