TOPIC: Sub site not recognising the registered viewer

Sub site not recognising the registered viewer 3 years, 2 months ago #10150

I found the instructions a little limiting.

It looks like all users are not managed.
I have selected all and clicked on Associate Batch, but there still remains a little red cross beside them.
Therefore, they can not access the subsite of which I only want them to access through the main the site.

The subsite has it's own database, of course, is this the issue?

Hi Mel!
Associate Batch option is intended to associate the same users between the sites for autologin.

But the users should anyway be marked as managed to be autologged in. This is done manually from the admin back-end.
You mean you can't turn them to managed (click this red cross)?
or, autologin still does not work even for managed users?

yes, the subsite has its own database.
