TOPIC: Problem with images in CB Sync

Problem with images in CB Sync 2 years, 7 months ago #11238

If on site A (CB sync main) images (avatar-photos) are moderated (i.e. added by the user and published by the moderator) - then

Site B (CB sync sub) announces that there is an image to be moderated - except the image isn't there (the actual jpg is on site A only).

Therefore the moderator rejects the images in B - resulting in an irritating notification to the registered user and nasty questions like "Why has my image not been accepted?"

My suggestion:
either the avatar change should NOT be synchronized (i.e. NOT be passed on from A to

OR

the actual jpg file needs to be transferred with the sync

OR

an absolute path for the avatar needs to be included in CB and passed on to site B .... so that B does find the image.

What do you think???? This is awkward for us at the moment....

Hi!
It should actually work this way: the actual jpg file needs to be transferred with the sync.

Could you please perform the following test:
*create a new user on site A (he will be automatically synchronized)
*then go and delete him on site B
*then go to site A and try to synch this user manually
Does the component show you any kind of error? Smth that it could not connect to FTP or anything?

Kind regards!
