Hi,

I am sure before the install of the lastest version I had edited the fields names on the testimonial form but I cannot remember how this was done. I could have sworn there was feature for this but I could be wrong.

I would like to change "Caption" to "Location" and "Author" to "Name" on the contact form.

I am sure this is possible but the method eludes me at this moment. I would also like to remove "Powered by Joomla Extension Testimonials Software" if possible or allowed.

Ok I have found out how to remove the branding but I am still stuck on changing the field names. I don't remember changing the code last time. I thought there was somthing in the front end that allowed this.

Any help would really be appreciated.

To change the field names is possible in "JoomPortolfio". "Testimonials" has never had such a capability.

There're the fixed set. We think it over. Perhaps, we'll implement the idea in next release in order any set of fields could be added.

I did wonder if I had imagined it. Is it possible then to have default values in the text areas so that when the form loads, in the Caption area it would say "Please enter your town here".

I wondered if it might be possible with the languages file somehow.

It's impossible, because it is not in the code.

But if you're familiar with PHP, you can edit yourself what you like, as our extensions are fully open source.

Or we could do all required changes for you as custom development.
