I'd like to repeat sm information here in order to help other people. Hope, you don't mind.

"Testimonials" doesn't use 'mootools', only 'jQuery'.

It's possible to add the command in order 'jQuery' works in compatibility mode (without conflicts). The way to change it - in the file "libs\libs.php" on FE find the 18th line:

$mainframe- > addCustomHeadTag(' < script type="text/javascript" src="'.$mosConfig_live_site.'/components/com_testimonials/libs/jquery-1.4.2.min.js" > < / script > ');

and after it add the following line:

$mainframe - > addCustomHeadTag(' < script type="text/javascript" > jQuery.noConflict(); < / script >');
