Hi.

I have enjoyed creating my quizzes and final exam, for which I would like to now create a certificate. I am attempting to upload my certificate (jpeg image) but I keep getting the message:

File must only contain alphanumeric characters and no spaces please.

What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do to upload my own certificate image?

Your help will be appreciated.

When I open an article with quiz at bottom I got "anchor behavior" : page loads at quiz title.

How I can I prevent this so that the page loads at the top?

it would be super if it could be possible to have a magnifying glass when hovering the magazine(not the menu). and when in zoomed mode a magnifying glass with a small "-".

Good morning, do not know how to rename the months to Spanish, the module that publishes created, displays the name of the month but not as English and translated into Spanish.

I purchased this module a couple days ago and even opened a ticket. In the member section the 1.0.4 version is not listed as a download even thought that was the version listed on the site where I purchased it. The only version available for download is the 1.0.3 but I need the link to download 1.0.4 as that is the only one that works for my Joomla install of 2.5.

Can someone please help with this as no one has even looked at my ticket either. I need this to launch a new site for our members.

In case this is important to anyone else, you can make the component W3C compliant by editing the template file(s) and fixing unencoded ampersands and a script statement. For example, I am using the black2 template so the relevant file is:

components/com_testimonials/templates/black2/default.php

Hello all.

On a new install of Testimonials as of tonight. Install and sample data went fine. Also installed the mod_testimonials with no issues. When the module is assigned to a proper position and enabled, the website give the following error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /home/newlevel/public_html/modules/mod_testimonials/helper.php on line 90

Anyone seen this before?

I'm trying to add testimonials in the backend of the content manager. Joomla 1.5.25 Stable and using Testimonials 1.6.4

Everything seems to be working except that I can't type into the author description or testimonial box on the backend entry screen. If I toggle the editor off I can type in the box. It will save it when I save. However if the editor is on I can't see what I typed in when it was off or enter anything else. None of the buttons in the editor work either.

Any thoughts? I apologize if this has been discussed. I searched unsuccessfully for this in the forum.

I have a custom HTML module which contains a link to a Survey., when the link is click it takes me to the start page of the Survey. Is it possible to change this so that it goes to the first page of the survey instead?

The site it live at www.bectuym.net and the HTML Mod is on the home page if that helps.

Hello

After spending some time with quiz settings I think that it needs few more (per quiz) settings.

We have quiz which has three attempts to pass, and which is passed only with 100% of answered questions.
If user passes quiz after 1st attempt, "Repeat Quiz" button shouldn't show. It should show only if quiz is failed.
- an option: "Don't show "Repeat Quiz" button if quizz is passed would solve this.

Quizzes has option to send mail if quiz is finished. It sends mails if quiz is both passed or failed.
If we want to get those mails, and if quiz has more than one attempt, our mailbox will be spammed a lot.
- an option: "Send mail only if user passes the quiz" would solve this issue.

Hello

When I'm using this plugin few bugs appear:

1. Problem with language
I translated needed Quiz language phrases into Croatian. When this plugin is published, quiz language phrases are English. Publishing this plugin somehow messes Quiz code and it shows English phrases.
We are using only Croatian language atm on our website, and in Joomla site settings Croatian is set as default language.
When I unpublish it, language phrases are Croatian, as it should be.
I can solve this by translating en-GB.com_joomlaquiz.ini into Croatian.
Please investigate

2. Repeat Quiz button reloads quiz outside of article
If quiz is inserted in article, if quiz is finished, "Repeat Quiz" button is shown below quiz results. if that button is clicked, quiz is reloaded, but outside of article, as standalone. Which defeats main purpose of including quiz in article.

3. Some parts of {quiz id=2} code leftovers in rendered article
I'm using quiz content plugin in Joomla 1.7 article: {quiz id=2}
When article which contains this code is displayed, I can see } (curly bracket) above rendered quiz.
It seems that regex function doesn't clean this code properly.

I am totally new to QuizDelux so you assistance will be really helpful. I have created a quiz category, with a quiz question and would like to place it in an article. This I have done and added the code: {quiz id#}.

But when I go to save the article nothing happens and I get a blank white page.

Hi,

I am brand new to QuizDelux so you "easy answers" will be appreciate. I have loaded all components. I have created a question. I have created the Menu item using the Standard Quiz Layout.

The link appears where it should. The page opens when the link is clicked.

BUT, the question does NOT display. It is basically a webpage with no content.

I know the quiz is there somewhere and everything seems say it works but the quiz itself is not displaying.

Just for information sake, my question does not appear in the Preview either. Just a usual web page but no question.

When starting out with JoomlaQuiz Deluxe, I could not find any good, simple instructions to make your own template. There are bits and pieces, here and there, but my old brain needed something more cohesive. So these are some step-by-step instructions I wrote as I went, which I wanted to offer up to the community. Please feel free to add/modify/delete as you please.

1. (In Windows Explorer) Clone the directory \media\joomlaquiz\joomlaquiz_standard
to \media\joomlaquiz\joomlaquiz_newname

2. Update \media\joomlaquiz\joomlaquiz_newname\joomlaquiz_template.xml
Update line 3:
JoomlaQuiz_standard to JoomlaQuiz_newname
the other lines are optional

3. Update \media\joomlaquiz\joomlaquiz_newname\jq_template.php
Around line 18, change

to

Optional. In this same file do a Find and Replace; replacing joomlaquiz_standard with joomlaquiz_newname.

4. (In Windows Explorer) highlight/select your \media\joomlaquiz\joomlaquiz_newname folder and create a zip of it ... joomlaquiz_newname.zip

5. In Joomla's Administration -> Components -> JoomlaQuiz Deluxe
Chose Settings
Chose Templates
Chose the Install Icon
Select your joomlaquiz_newname.zip file
Chose the Install Icon
