TOPIC: Wishlist JoomlaQuiz Deluxe

Wishlist JoomlaQuiz Deluxe 1 year, 11 months ago #12211

Hello Joomplace people,

I've been using JoomlaQuiz Deluxe in collaboration with a few people. We've created 30 food-related quizzes for middleschool students.

First of all - It is a good system that is relatively easy to use.

But I also noticed some things that could be improved. Especially for the answering of questions:

Fill in the blank:
- Enable and disable case-sensitivity;
- Set the width of the blank fields;
- Partial score.

Matching Drag-and-Drop:
- Set the height of the boxes (if text is too long, it will continue out-side of the box).
- Using a different 'connected'-image than the blue lines.

Survey:
- Detect keywords in answers for automatic checking -- now any answer is a pass.

New question-type:
- A question with a list of multiple choices. EG:
Is this a fruit or a vegetable?
Broccoli - o Fruit - o Vegetable
Melon - o Fruit - o Vegetable
etc.

In conclusion, as I said, it is a good system for a great price, but there is room for some improvement.

Greetings and all the best!
Alexander Smakman.

Hi Alecxander,
that you for the list - we'll take it into consideration,
however certain things can be done now by just modifying the template, particularly:
* Set the width of the blank fields;
this can be either set in quiz tempalte file which is stored in the media\joomlaquiz\template_name folder; or in the php file for all the quiz questions.
but maybe you want to be able to set the width for separate questions...

* Set the height of the boxes (if text is too long, it will continue out-side of the box).
* Using a different 'connected'-image than the blue lines.
this can be changed in the quiz template file as well. Please let me know if you need the detailed explanation on how to do this - we'll assist.
