The releases repair the permissions issue for some of the plugins directories. Now some of them, particularly 3 plugins for Jomsocial: JomSocial Graffiti Wall, JomSocial Personal Classifieds and JomSocial Profile Designer have 757 folder permissions.
Earlier the folder permissions were set 777. This could lead to the vulnerability of the site (where the mentioned plugins are used), because during the installation our product creates its own directories with the permissions 777. New versions fix that.
Now it’s possible to update your installation pack. Download it in your Members Area and reinstall on your site. Also you can easily fix it yourself by setting the permissions 755 for the directories. The following instructions should help you:
1. “JomSocial Graffiti Wall”: set the permissions 755 for the folder “images/graffitiwall/” and its subfolders.
2. “JomSocial Personal Classifieds”: set the permissions 755 for the folder “images/profclassifieds” and its subfolders.
3. “JomSocial Profile Designer”: set the permissions 755 for “images/ID” recursively.
You can also find additional info about permissions here.
