Update of the component or its plug-in

Joomla Quiz Deluxe does not update automatically! The update must be done manually. Every time we update the component, it's available for download in your Members Area. you must have a valid subscription to be able to update your component to the latest version.

 

To do an update, we recommend you not to uninstall your current component, just install the new version over the top of an older one; for details, see Installation. All the data created and used in the component will be saved and available after update.

 

Migration of the quizzes

To migrate the quizzes from older Joomla versions or other domains, you can export the questions from the older site, and then import them to the new one.

 

1.Go to the domain you want to export your quizzes from.
2.Open the list of quizzes.
3.Select the check boxes for the ones you want to export, and then click Export, or just click Export all:

4.Save the package to your local machine.
5.Import the quizzes to the new site; for details, see Import Quizzes.

 

Removal of the component or its plug-in from Web site

1.Go to Extensions > Extension Manager > Manage.
2.Select the check box for the Joomla Quiz Deluxe component (or the needed plug-in), and click Uninstall:

TIPS & TRICKS

Use the filters on the upper-right of the page for quick finding the needed component. OR Type in the component name (or the first letters of it) and click Search.

The component data will be kept in the database in case you need it for the future use.
