Hello Eric,

Do you mean you want to remove the "Recurring" and "Recurring end" fields from the front-end?

Hi Eric,

To remove the fields, open file room_booker.html.php in folder components\com_room_booker\.

Take the following steps.

1. Find string 435 (
<tr><td valign="top"><?php echo _RB_RECURRING;?>:
)
2. Add the "display none' code at the beginning so that you get
<tr style="display: none;"><td valign="top"><?php echo _RB_RECURRING;?>:
3. Find string 483
<tr>
  <td><?php echo _RB_RECURRING_START."*";?>
4. Apply the above mentioned changes to get
<tr style="display: none;">
  <td><?php echo _RB_RECURRING_START."*";?>
5. Find string 490 and apply the same changes to it so that it looks like
<tr style="display: none;">
  <td><?php echo _RB_RECURRING_END;?>

Would this coding work with Agency, Importance and Type?

Also, is it possible to embed RoomBooker within an article?
I want to be able to put instructions for use on the same page.

If not, can I put it in a specific module?

Thanks.

M Beatty,

Yes, the coding would work with these fields, too.

Unfortunately, RoomBooker cannot be embedded into a module or an article.

However, you can put instructions into a Custom HTML module and assign it to the same page with the RoomBooker component as done on the demo page demo.joomplace.com/index.php?option=com_room_booker&Itemid=34. Check the "RoomBooker component description module", please.

If any detailed instructions are needed, feel free to ask.
