TOPIC: Multisite search in sub domains

Multisite search in sub domains 7 years 9 months ago #14066

I have purchased multisite search for our university domain. I have 2 problems.

Problem1

The main site search works but subsite search links are not working. additional suffix is added to url

eg. www.ou.ac.lk - main site
www.ou.ac.lk/eng/ <- sub site

all the search results are giving a wrong link www.ou.ac.lk/eng/eng/index.php?com...
it has to be www.ou.ac.lk/eng/index.php?com...

this happens to every sub domain I add to search. Please help

Problem 2
When I add a a department link such as www.ou.ac.lk/science/chemsitry/ --> the generated search html will take the entire window without getting displayed in the area specified in CSS. search is not working at all. I appreciate if you could help me.

Hello Malinda,

Here I can only suppose some causes:
- wrong domain of subsite;
- incorrect component settings of subsites' databases.

But as we're discussing this problems in ticket, let's proceed there.
