TOPIC: Error: User always redirected to forum root

Error: User always redirected to forum root 7 years 10 months ago #13649

Hi everybody,

we have installed the VBBridge and followed the instructions.
The patching of the VB Template and syncing of users worked fine.

Unfortunately we have the situation, that logged in users can not view forumposts anymore, as they are automatically redircted from the post to the forum root again. That way people only see the article for seconds, then they are back in the forum root.

Anyone any idea what happened - more importantly how to fix it?
Latest Joomla 1.5.20 with latest CB 1.2.3 and latest VB 4.07 with VBSEO.

Ticket for support is raised, waiting for reply.

ANY help is highly appreciated as our forum is down.

thank you,
Matthias

Hi Matthias,

It works in "Mozilla Firefox". It doesn't work in IE, hangs on and doesn't load the forum page, even if to open it directly (without using our bridge).

To make the forum work you can try to unpatch the template. It will disable javascript connection on forum.

As I've already mentioned, everything works in "Mozilla Firefox". We've posted the test message via our bridge on forum.

We're looking for solution.
