TOPIC: What is the path/location for images?

What is the path/location for images? 7 years 2 months ago #15988

I need to know the location on my server where FlashMagazine stores images and in particular thumbnails. In the magazine setup there is the option to select a thumbnail but I have no clue how or were to upload a thumbnail for each magazine?

Is there another location to do this ahead of time so they are available in the drop down list of available thumbnails? ( retro_thumb.jpg is an example of an existing thumb )

I have downloaded the component from server to search for any folders with those existing thumbnails and the images for my magazine but I cannot find them.

Dear Paul,

The extension resources are stored in %joomla_root%\media\com_flashmagazinedeluxe\.

Images are in the "images" folder, thumbnails in the "thumbs" folder.

As regards uploading thumbnails, you can do it on the magazine page. Click the name of a necessary magazine. On the page that appears click the diskette symbol (for Joomla! 1.5) or the arrow symbol (for Joomla! 1.6) next to the Thumbnail field. Browse an image and click Upload. The image will be automatically uploaded to the above mentioned folder. Once it is uploaded, you will be able to select it from the Thumbnail drop-down window.

Thanks.

Can I upgrade to the unlimited license by paying you the difference between the $49 and the $79 ? Customer want's to use this on another site and it would make more sense to just do that.
