Hi all,

Just installed installed JoomBlog onto 3.7.2 and receiving the following error messages when accessing the blog (Blog Posts).

Deprecated: Non-static method JApplicationSite::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /home/thecom39/public_html/new.coerealty.com/components/com_joomblog/templates/default/toolbar.tmpl.html on line 15

Deprecated: Non-static method JApplicationCms::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /home/thecom39/public_html/new.coerealty.com/libraries/cms/application/site.php on line 272
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hi Jason,

Those are notices for developers to optimize the code for newer PHP versions. Our team is working on this at the moment, and we are planning to release a compatible patch of JoomBlog next month.

Meanwhile, you can hide these notices in System - Global Configuration - Server - Error Reporting - None.
