TOPIC: Not working as expected

Not working as expected 5 years 5 days ago #23090

Hi,

I purchased the DnD code yesterday & started setting up dummy modules so that I can see how it works. Here is what I have done.

1) Created an article called "DnD Holding Page" (published)
2) Created several Dummy modules (which will work through with proper content as they are written) using single article from 1) as content.
3) Created DnD Modules with identical names as in 2) linking the modules to DnD
4) Created test List DnD items and assigned a few Modules at suggested template locations.
5) Created a few test Menu Items under Main Menu.

What happens is that the pages from the Menu Appear as expected. But after Dragging & Dropping any one item, then subsequent drags do not work:

a) Unable to drag
b) Will not allow 2nd move of object
c) Jittery behaviour on objects - will not drop

Hi Stephen, I'm assuming that the issue should be resolved by now. Can you please share on how you were able to fix this?

Hi,
Sorry about the late reply. The issue in question was not resolved but I applied a workaround (not using the part of code in question).

I have another question.

I've been developing a site using JoomDrag&Drop (very happy with it!)

Are there plans to make a mobile friendly version for VIEWING ONLY on mobile devices? If not is there a way to do it? Is this something you could do? Depending on cost I could be interested in a paid solution. Anyone interested please let me know and I'll explain what trying to achieve

Regards

Stephen

Of course we have such plans,

But unfortunately I couldn't say deadline when it will be realized, as such feature require to use new scripts and extension will be written from scratch.
