The installation package with Personal Goals Manager includes the following archives:

com_goals_ver_1_1_0.zip - the installation archive for the component.
plg_community_goals.zip - a special JomSocial application that allows showing personal goals on JomSocial profile page.
plg_community_habits.zip - a special JomSocial application that allows showing personal habits on JomSocial profile page.
plg_community_plans.zip- a special JomSocial application that allows showing personal plans on JomSocial profile page.
plg_content_goals - Joomla content plug-in to display the goal chart in the site content.
plg_content_habits - Joomla content plug-in to display habits chart in the site content.
plg_content_plans - Joomla content plug-in to display plans chart in the site content.
plg_editors_xtd_goals - Joomla editor's plug-in to display the button for inserting the goal charts in the content.
plg_editors_xtd_habits - Joomla editor's plug-in to display the button for inserting the habits chart in the content.
plg_editors_xtd_plans- Joomla editor's plug-in to display the button for inserting the plans chart in the content.

 

To install the Personal Goals Manager component, do the following:

1.In your Members Area, download the component to your local machine.

TIPS & TRICKS

If you purchased the component for a single domain, before the link to download appears, you need to type in the domain name in the special field in your Members Area. Then you will see the Download button.

 

2.Extract the files from the main archive.
3.On your Web site, go to Extensions > Extension Manager:

4.On the Install tab, click Browse, select the archive from the folder with the component on your machine, and then click Upload & Install:

5.Repeat step 4 for every archive in the component package.

TIPS & TRICKS

The plug-ins you install for the component by default have a Not Published () status. To be able to use them, go to Extensions > Extension manager > Manage, and click Publish next to the needed items.

 

The menu for Personal Goals Manager now appears under the Components tab of your Administration section and can be managed from there:

After the component is installed, proceed to the Configuration and Settings and Customization sections, and then start creating your goals.
