In this section all the authorized users who are assigned as survey authors can view and manage surveys they created on the FE.

 

To open Surveys section and see the list of all surveys, go to Surveys:

Create a survey
1.Click New ().
2.In the open form, complete the needed information for the following tabs:

Name - type the title for your new survey (required field).

You cannot have several surveys with the same name.

 

Description - type the description you want to display for users before they can click the Start button. You can apply the needed formatting to the text and insert the images and video.
Short Description - type the description you want to display for this survey  when it is added to the Category list.
Published - from the drop-down list, select one of the following:
Yes  - If you want to publish the survey and make it available for your site users.
No  - If you want to make your survey unavailable for your site users.
Expired on - add the date when the surveys becomes unpublished (required field); use the Calendar () icon for the date selection.

Enable Welcome Screen (Description) - from the drop-down list, select one of the following:
Yes  - If you want to display the survey description for the users before they can see the first question. Make sure you added the description for this survey in the Description field.
No  - If you want to skip the survey description on FE and take the users directly to the first question.
Image - this field allows you to set the background image that will be used with any survey template when each question is placed on separate page. To set the background, from the drop-down list select the image for the survey background OR click to upload the new one and select the image from your local machine:

TIPS & TRICKS

The image will not be autosized, so before you upload it, make sure it has the desired size. Example:

 

Show Progress Bar - the progress bar is located at the top of the survey template and shows the percentage of the survey you have left. If this option enabled, from the drop-down list, select whether you want to count progress by questions of pages.
Template - from the drop-down list, select one of the available templates (required field). For more information, see Templates.
Category - from the drop-down list of the earlier created categories, select the needed one.
Randomize questions - from the drop-down list, select how order for the questions will change every time the user makes a new attempt to answer the survey:

NO  - the questions will be shown in the same order for all the attempts and all users.
Randomize pages  - the pages will be shown in random order, but all the questions on them will remain as predefined.
Randomize questions on a page - the order of the questions will be changed only within the page.
Randomize pages and questions on a page - the questions will be loaded in absolutely random order. This option is preferred if all questions are placed one per page.

 

Auto insert Page Break - from the drop-down list, select one of the following:
Yes  - all questions will be placed one per page. Manual insertion of page breaks will not be applied.
No  - all questions will be placed on a single page. You can divide them into several pages by manually adding Page Break question type.

 

If the survey is already passed (after start) - when only single voting is allowed for the survey and this user has already answered this survey, he will see one of the following:
Show warning message  - the message defined in the Final Page Text field.
Show warning message and survey results - the message defined in the Final Page Text field and the results of this survey including all answers given by all users by this moment.

 

Access levels - define what types of users will be able to answer this survey. Several options can be selected at the same time:

For any access level you can set how many times the user can answer this survey:

Public  - any site visitor can answer the survey.
For Invited users - only the users who received an invitation link can answer the survey.
For Registered users - only users authorized on the site can answer the survey.
For Users in Lists - only users added to the user lists can answer the survey.

 

 

Final Page - select what the user will see on the last page of the survey after answering all questions:
Show results (graphs)  - the survey results.

TIPS & TRICKS

Survey Force Deluxe does NOT show the user personal results! The results include answers off all the users who took this survey up to that moment.

 

Show text - the message defined in the Final Page Text field.

 

Final Page Text - type the message you want to display for users at the end of the survey. You can apply the needed formatting to the text and insert the images.

 

3.Click Save to create the survey.

 

Edit an existing survey

 

1.Select the check box next to the survey you want to modify.
2.Click Edit ( ).
3.In the open form, make the needed changes; for details, see Survey creation form.
4.Save the changes.
