arrow_upTIPS & TRICKS
For your convenience, here are some tips on how the permissions system basically works.

There are general Joomla! permissions which are used as default ones and are inherited by components. These permissions are to be found in System > Global Configuration > Permissions. The Public user group of the component, i.e. Testimonials in your case, inherits the Joomla! permissions. The other component groups inherit them from the Public group.

So feel free to go to the System section and check what permissions are set up there. Adjust them as required. Note that there are tips at the bottom of the page and the Public group permissions should be left as they are in most cases. Then, go to the Permissions section of the component to set up the corresponding permissions there with regards to the global ones. Tips are also available.

For detailed information about permission levels and the like, check Joomla! Access Control List tutorial.

3. At the top of the window, click Save to save the changes and stay on this page, OR click Save & Close to save the changes and be redirected to the administration section.
